ずっと前から気になっていて、今読んでる最中のWolves of Mercy Fallsシリーズ

３部作。

詩的な感じがして、寒さまで感じるような世界観と、狼男のミステリー。

読んだ数ページで引込む力があります。まんまとハマりました。

それぞれのキャラクターの１人称、そして視点の文章で構成された作品。

凍えるように寒い寒さを感じるShiverは是非冬の寒い季節に、そして、少し寒さを感じる春にLingerを、そしてまだ発売していないのでわからないですが、夏発売の最後Foreverはたぶん夏に読むのをオススメします。絶対に読んだ印象も違うことでしょう。

全てのタイトルが『-er』で韻をふんでる、ようです。

主人公の１人、サムが詩が好きで、作中にも『詩』がよく登場します。それをふんだ、タイトルなのかな、きっと。

映画化もするらしく、脚本家が決定したりと、着々と計画進行中のようです。

詩的な文章を楽しむ、という部分もある今作と、それから狼人間の映画の変身シーンはホラー映画ならいいんですがそれ以外だとどうしても表現するに難しいだけに、ちょっとだけ複雑な心境。
