ゴシックファッションを好み、小さないなか町では浮いた存在の彼女が、
幽霊屋敷に引っ越してきた謎の男の子に出会います。
にんにく嫌い、昼間は外出しない、青白い顔に黒づくめのクールなファッション、
とまるでヴァンパイアみたいな彼に、レイヴンはひと目で恋してしまいます。
彼と関わるうちに、レイヴンは次第に周囲に心を開き、成長していきます。

ヴァンパイア学園ロマンスモノ。
他の作品と違うところは、主人公も登場して来るヴァンパイアたちも、だいたい格好がゴスなところ。ゴスファッションのアイテム名がよく出て来るので、好きな人には想像しやすい世界観かと思います。そして、好きな人は、そういうファッションの男前が好きだったりする人が多いかと思うので、アタシのように、わ～ジャガー（登場人物の１人）カッコイイじゃん、とかなるかもしれません（笑）
トワイライトサーガとかと違って、けっこう軽いノリで進んで行くので、読みやすいです。
人気のシリーズで、現在もシリーズが続いています。

そして、別のストーリーで漫画化(Blood Relativesシリーズ）もされていて、これもまだ続いてるようです。
